Check out the "Better Block Project". It is going to be awesome, especially for those tactile people like me. April 27th and 28th, they are going to bring in non-permanent items to show what the area by the Donut Whole and Tanya's could look like. Check it out!

DDD Selected for Better Block Project!

It's fad that's popping up all over the country that involves one block that is completely transformed into a trendy destination; one that's specifically bike and pedestrian friendly. The transformation will happen at Douglass and Hydraulic April 27 and 28, 2012. While it will only be temporary many hope Wichita officials will consider making the changes permanent.

"We like to focus on a single block and put all our energy into how can we change this and make this into a vibrant and exciting destination," said Team Better Block's Jason Roberts
